Our Parent Mentors have journeyed this path, and can provide caring support and encouragement to other parents. They know firsthand the unique challenges of having a child with a mental health challenge.
Our Parent to Parent program matches parents to an experienced parent who can support and guide them through the mental health care system.
Our trained Parent Mentors can connect through phone calls, emails, texts, or meeting at the hospital/school/community. Our team is dedicated in supporting parents in a way that is best for them.

Parent Mentors at holdhope not only have to have lived experience as a parent of a child with a mental health challenge, but they are required to pass a criminal background check, sign a confidentiality agreement, participate in mental health trainings, and possess effective communication and listening skills with empathy and compassion. Our Parent Mentors are required to be familiar with local agencies and resources that can help other parents.
holdhope is dedicated in providing the best possible Parent Mentors that exemplify professionalism, maturity, and emotional stability in order to address difficulty circumstances.
