Our team consists of other parents who have also walked this difficult journey with their child. We know firsthand how important it is to have caring adults in your life who provide support and encouragement in a confidential, safe space that is free from judgement. Our Parent Mentors provide support, resources, and information, and help to navigate the mental health care system.
Our mission is to empower and equip families to support their teen or young adult child who may be struggling with a mental health challenge, destructive behaviors, or choices.

Our journey began in the Fall of 2021 when our loving, smart, and wonderful 17-year-old son attempted to take his life. We were utterly and completely devastated. This was our first introduction to the mental health care system, and we did not know one single resource. We were also unable to reach out to find these resources due to our pain and despair over our child. It was during this time, that many people surrounded our family in providing support, resources, referrals, etc. These friends lifted us up in our darkest moments and gave us hope. Now, we want to offer this same support to other families who are hurting over their child. We are committed to helping hurting families believe that hope does exist, even in their pain.
